Being a Green Citizen_ Digital Green Exposition

Cittaslow International is an association of slow smart cities (241 worldwide) where people live in strong connection with nature and lead a sustainable, eco-friendly life. Cities are the results of citizen’s actions, life style, habits and traditions. The project aim is to make people thinking about the meaning of being green citizens through a photo contest. Inhabitants will take photos to show green cities experiences and their picture will be part of a digital green exposition.

Everyone can join Green Citizen Photo Contest: 1) take a picture to size a moment that shows the meaning of being “green citizen” and to present green cities experiences. 2) send your pic + description + name_surname + cities name by email at: euoffice@cittaslow.org or you can share it on Instagram using #cittaslow #greencitizencontest, tag Cittaslow International Page. The deadline is 27 of April. Picture will be part of a digital photographic exhibition about “Green Citizens” that will take place in May, during Bruxelles Green Week, at Palazzo dei Sette, Cittaslow International HQ. A jury will choose the best photo that will be exhibited permanently, in Cittaslow International HQ. The winner will receive a special green prize during a public event that will take place on May 16th in Orvieto (Palazzo dei Sette), the purpose of the event is to talk about environmental topic with focus on green cities and to talk about the Agenda of Green Week in Bruxelles.
